The Village of Godley is located in Will and Grundy Counties, 55 miles southwest of Chicago. Incorporated in 1888, Godley was considered a "boom town" with the discovery of coal. At that time there were more than 1000 people living and working here. These days there are approximately 225 homes with over 600 residents who enjoy living in this small family oriented community.
